KUHF Conversations: Democratic Candidate Bill White

Posted on · We're less than two weeks away from Election Day and former Houston Mayor Bill White is spending his days all over the state, the home stretch of his campaign to unseat Texas Governor Rick Perry. White was a popular mayor and hopes to take his message of fiscal responsibility and fresh ideas to Austin. White spoke with KUHF's Rod Rice earlier this week. We want to make it clear that we've extended the same invitation to Governor Perry, and so far haven't heard back.
