Houston ties record for hottest temperature ever recorded in city at 109 degrees

Posted on August 25, 2023 · Thursday's high temperature at Bush Intercontinental Airport tied the Houston record established in 2000 and matched in 2011. Triple-digit heat is expected to continue at least through this weekend.

3-month-old boy left in hot car dies in Houston, police say

Posted on August 9, 2023 · Criminal charges were not immediately filed against the boy's mother, who had gone inside the Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD Services along with another child, according to police.
