Galveston ISD parting with superintendent Jerry Gibson after his controversial comments about women

Posted on May 9, 2023 · Gibson and the school district reached a resignation agreement that keeps him employed through June 30 and gives him a $70,000 severance package, according to Galveston ISD school board president Tony Brown.
