Two Houston post offices suspend retail operations, with USPS citing safety as reason

Posted on September 21, 2023 · The branches in the Medical Center and Greenspoint areas are both undergoing building renovations, according to USPS. The Houston Police Department has received a total of 26 calls for service to those locations during the last six months.

Report finds racial disparities among Houstonians pulled over for non-moving traffic violations

Posted on September 19, 2023 · The report found that Houston's Black drivers accounted for nearly half of those pulled over for non-moving traffic violations -- despite the fact that about 23% of Houston’s population is Black.
