The father of a worker killed during a chemical leak files $1 million lawsuit against LyondellBasell

Posted on October 14, 2021 · According to the lawsuit, LyondellBasell became aware of a leak inside of the Acetyls Unit on July 27, and decided to delay permanent repairs. Later that day, more than 100,000 pounds of a mixture of harmful chemicals was released into the complex.
