Texas “Death Star Law” ruled unconstitutional by judge; Houston officials celebrate

Posted on August 30, 2023 · Attorneys for Houston and more than a dozen other cities argued House Bill 2127 was unconstitutionally vague and violated the Texas Constitution’s Home Rule provision. Judge Guerra Gamble of Travis County agreed.
