Attorneys Argue Over Proper Venue For Sanctuary City Lawsuit

Posted on June 29, 2017 · For the second time this week, the Texas attorney general's office sparred in federal court with opponents of the state's new immigration-enforcement law, Senate Bill 4. Both sides got an earful from federal Judge Sam Sparks.

One Hearing On Texas’ Sanctuary Cities Law Down, One To Go

Posted on June 27, 2017 · U.S. District Judge Orlando Garcia declined to make a decision Monday, and he didn't indicate when a decision might come. Meanwhile, a federal court in Austin is set to consider Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton's request to declare the measure constitutional Thursday.
