19% of Harris County mail-in ballots in the 2022 primary were rejected due to SB 1, according to the elections administrator

Second day of judicial election challenge trial focuses on countywide problems with mail-in ballots, early votes

Posted on August 2, 2023 · Republican voting officials Kay Tyner and Colleen Vera took the stand for the plaintiff, former Judge Erin Lunceford, in Lunceford’s election challenge lawsuit against Judge Tamika Craft. Lunceford is seeking a new election in Harris County’s 189th Judicial District Court.

First Republican case challenging Harris County’s November 2022 election results gets underway

Posted on August 1, 2023 · This first case involves a challenge by a Republican former judge, Erin Lunceford, who ran for district court judge and lost to Democrat Tamika “Tami” Craft by a margin of 2,743 votes.
