Cruise plans to launch driverless ride-hailing service in Houston

Posted on May 10, 2023 · The California-based subsidiary of General Motors began operating autonomous ride-hailing early last year in San Francisco before expanding to Austin and Phoenix. Human-supervised test drives in Houston will start next week.

Houston awarded $36.9 million federal grant to build railroad underpasses in East End neighborhood plagued by stopped trains

Posted on June 5, 2023 · As part of the West Belt Improvement Project, seven at-grade railroad crossings will be closed and a total of four underpasses will be constructed on York Street and at the intersection of Commerce Street and Navigation Boulevard.
