Harris County Jail, with population of nearly 10,000, reports first case of monkeypox

Posted on August 26, 2022 · The infected inmate, a man in his 30s, was booked into the jail Aug. 15, appeared in court two days later and reported monkeypox symptoms Aug. 21, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
