Trump pleads not guilty to federal charges that he tried to overturn 2020 election

Posted on August 3, 2023 · Trump appeared before a magistrate judge in Washington’s federal courthouse two days after being indicted on four felony counts. The charges accuse him of trying to subvert the will of voters and undo his election loss in the days before Jan. 6, 2021, when supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol in a violent and bloody clash with law enforcement.

Posted on July 31, 2023 · Nederland resident Michael Marroquin, 63, was arrested last week and charged with seven crimes related to his alleged involvement in the attack on the U.S. Capitol in 2021. The FBI received a tip from one of his relatives, court documents show.
