Houston sees another $1 million Powerball winner as Californian claims $1 billion prize

Posted on July 20, 2023 · A ticket sold in the Houston area matched all five white-ball numbers for the third time in as many Powerball drawings during the last week. Statewide sales for Wednesday's drawing, when the jackpot was an estimated $1 billion, topped $24 million.
