Firefighting wastewater from Ohio train derailment began arriving in Deer Park last week, Hidalgo says

Posted on February 24, 2023 · Texas Molecular, the company contracted to dispose of the wastewater, informed Judge Lina Hidalgo Thursday that the first shipments had arrived by truck around Wednesday, February 15.

Firefighting wastewater from Ohio train derailment to be disposed of in Harris County, experts say it’s a common process

Posted on February 23, 2023 · Deer Park-based company Texas Molecular has contracted with the EPA to dispose of the wastewater by injecting it into the ground at its facility in Deer Park.

Toxic wastewater shipments from Ohio trail derailment headed back to Houston area

Posted on February 28, 2023 · A Harris County company that disposes of toxic chemicals is again receiving shipments of firefighting wastewater from a trail derailment in Ohio early this month, according to Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo.
