Houston parks department still seeks more lifeguards as city pools open for 2023 swim season

Posted on May 26, 2023 · The city will open a total of 12 pools on Saturday and Sunday, with a plan to have a total of 24 facilities operating between June 3-Sept. 3. That is contingent on lifeguard staffing levels.
