Houston awarded $36.9 million federal grant to build railroad underpasses in East End neighborhood plagued by stopped trains

Posted on June 5, 2023 · As part of the West Belt Improvement Project, seven at-grade railroad crossings will be closed and a total of four underpasses will be constructed on York Street and at the intersection of Commerce Street and Navigation Boulevard.
