Harris County Jail making changes after state report finds inmate died from lack of medication

Posted on February 2, 2023 · According to a report from the Texas Commission on Jail Standards, Matthew Shelton was prescribed medication after being booked into the Harris County Jail, but never received it. He died five days later.
