Fort Bend voters pass $1.26 billion bond to go toward construction, technology improvements

Posted on May 8, 2023 · Each of the bond’s three propositions passed. The first two, which provided for campus construction projects like the rebuilding of three schools as well as technology improvements across the district, passed by nearly 66%.

Fort Bend ISD gets public input on $1.26 billion bond that would rebuild multiple campuses

Fort Bend, Katy voters reject tax rate for teacher pay raises, added security to schools

Posted on November 11, 2022 · Katy’s tax increase would have bumped up salaries for teachers and staff by 4 percent this year. Fort Bend would have increased starting pay for teachers, created a bonus program and placed a police officer at every elementary campus.
