Texas Children’s Hospital shuttering both of its Houston health centers dedicated to serving low-income families

Posted on · The Houston-based hospital system said it is closing its Centers for Children and Women because it “identified an opportunity to create a different paradigm and care model" for the benefit of Texas Children's Health Plan members as well as its other patients.

“The lack of health care is very frustrating… for children and adults,” said Dr. Diana Grair. “In some small way, we are able to help them…. At least there’s something for them to kind of hang on to.” January 2018.
