Trash Bash Removes 49 Tons of Garbage from Area Watershed

Posted on · We learn about the Bayou Preservation Association‘s annual Trash Bash Saturday, March 29. It’s the largest waterway clean-up event in Texas. Volunteers clean up some 49 tons of trash along the Galveston Bay Watershed — everything from toilet seats to TVs to refrigerators. Executive Director Kathy Lord talks about the event and its mission.
