Defoe also shares his insight on the importance of Native American and queer representation in the arts, how this has informed his approach to directing RENT, and how he sees his work having impact for future generations.

RENT, presented by Theatre Under The Stars, is now playing at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts in Houston until Sunday, May 28, 2023. For more information, click here.

Then, we shift the conversation to politics. Political analyst Nancy Sims and political science professor Dr. John Mark Hansen join us to discuss the latest on the 2023 debt ceiling crisis and their thoughts on the nation's two-party system.
