Dogs can always sense when we're not feeling our best and try their best to make us feel better. Our guest, Dr. Renee Alsarraf, explains the many ways in which dogs benefit our lives through unconditional love and support.

She shares her personal story on how she went from treating dogs with cancer to being diagnosed with cancer herself and how her own dog helped her through this difficult time in her life.

This experience inspired her to write her book Sit, Stay, Heal: What Dogs Can Teach Us About Living Well which features lessons she learned from her research and stories of the remarkable dogs she treated and their families.
