Lily and Madeleine Jurkiewicz got discovered after they uploaded a video of their first original single, “In the Middle,” to YouTube. On the strength of that performance, they quickly had a recording deal and attracted attention from national TV and The New York Times, and it’s not hard to understand why. The sisters perform some of the most seamless and goosebump-inducing vocal harmonies you’re likely to hear. And as folk-pop songwriters, they spin elegant melodies and vivid, reflective lyrics. Lily & Madeleine’s most recent album Canterbury Girls was released, to acclaim, in February 2019, and was co-produced by Daniel Tashian and Ian Fitchuk (the team behind Kacey Musgraves’ Grammy-winning Golden Hour). The sisters visited Skyline Sessions to record “Analog Love” and “Supernatural Sadness,” both from Canterbury Girls.
