Texas-panhandle-raised and now based in Nashville, singer-songwriter Ryan Culwell has received some glowing press for his 2018 album The Last American. Rolling Stone ranked it 26th in a list of the "40 Best Country and Americana Albums of 2018.” And try Googling “Ryan+Culwell+Springsteen” to see how many times he’s inspired camparisons to The Boss. While on a Houston tour stop, Culwell visited Houston Public Media to record the songs “Can You Hear Me” and “Tie My Pillow to a Tree,” both from The Last American.
