If you are new to downtown Houston, you may wonder where all the people are? Where are the bustling city hordes of people out for lunch or going from building to building?? Well in the Bayou City, they are underground! It all started in the early 1960’s when the Bank of the Southwest Building wanted to be linked to it’s garage. Almost 50 years later, this tunnel system links 95 city blocks and runs 6 miles long! Ernie and Crew meet up with Houston Greeter Ken Steinhardt to take us “down under” to explore the Houston Downtown Tunnels.
