Christmas classics and Disney favorites come to Houston from across the pond as the London-based a cappella ensemble The King’s Singers make a stop here on their North American tour.

Singing some traditional carols and selections from their recent album When You Wish Upon a Star, the group will present their holiday concert at Rice University on Dec. 12 hosted by Chamber Music Houston.

In the audio above, first baritone Chris Bruerton talks with Houston Matters producer Joshua Zinn about singing across genres, his love of Tex-Mex, and why the music they’re performing has such broad appeal.
