Also this hour: On this month’s edition of The Bigger Picture, our monthly film segment, we learn about the new documentary Boys State, which premieres on Apple TV+ on Friday. It follows four high school students who attended the 2018 Boys State program in Austin, where more than 1,000 participants form a student government between two parties and campaign for elected offices.

And we discuss efforts to make newsrooms more diverse and inclusive.
