Special Edition: Dr. Umair Shah and Dr. Catherine Troisi (June 25, 2020)

Harris County’s top health official and an epidemiologist answer your questions about COVID-19.

Our special edition of Houston Matters weekdays at 3 p.m. addresses your questions and concerns about important issues affecting the community.

In the first segment, host Ernie Manouse is joined by Dr. Umair Shah, executive director of Harris County Public Health, to address the state of Harris County's COVID-19 situation: the spike in hospitalizations and ICU status, the high demand in testing, and best practices to slow the spike in cases.

Then, Ernie is joined by one of our all-star guests, Dr. Catherine Troisi, infectious disease epidemiologist at UTHealth School of Public Health, who fields questions about COVID-19 from listeners.
