Houston Matters

Special Edition: Theater And Film Greats Wes Anderson, Louis Gossett Jr., And Rita Moreno (Sept. 26, 2019)

On Thursday’s Houston Matters: A special edition of the program featuring highlights of conversations we’ve had in recent years about film and theater. We hear from director and Houston native Wes Anderson, along with actors Louis Gossett Jr., and Rita Moreno.

Thursday’s Houston Matters was preempted by special coverage from NPR News of Acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire’s testimony before the House Intelligence Committee. This was the first such hearing since House Democrats reached a new consensus this week about moving ahead with an impeachment inquiry against President Trump.

So, in place of today’s planned show, we bring a special edition of the program featuring some highlights of conversations we’ve had in recent years about film and theater. We hear from director and Houston native Wes Anderson, along with actors Louis Gossett Jr., Rita Moreno, and others.
