On Wednesday’s Houston Matters: A new survey says Mayor Sylvester Turner leads all mayoral candidates with 37 percent of support from likely voters. That’s according to results of a new poll from KHOU-TV and Houston Public Media, unveiled today. We take a closer look at the numbers and what they tell us about the November municipal election.

Also this hour: Local experts discuss recent news in the latest installment of our weekly political roundup.

Then, we get an update on the state of local dams and reservoirs in the aftermath of more flooding and two years after Harvey.
