On Thursday’s Houston Matters: A planned portion of The Grand Parkway project may be jettisoned. TxDOT is considering delaying or removing segments of the project from its ten-year plan. We get an update on the project.

Also this hour: We find out how Houston fared in an annual City Clean Energy Score Card. And we learn about the City of Houston’s first Climate Action Plan.

Then, the new book Mud and Money reflects on the things that have drawn people to Houston throughout history (spoiler alert: it’s money).

Plus, we visit an event that combines the pace and volume of speed dating with the stress of a job interview.

And we check out the Icons of Style exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, which highlights fashion photography over the years, including some iconic images of some famous Houstonians.
