On Tuesday’s Houston Matters: Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg wants money to hire additional prosecutors and investigators. Harris County Commissioners Court is considering her request. Ogg joins us to explain exactly what she wants to do.
And, the last time Ogg sought more prosecutors was in February when she requested an additional $20 million to do so. Commissioners turned her down. But that was then – this is now – and the request today is for far less. We hear more from reporter Keri Blakinger who covers criminal justice for the Houston Chronicle.
