Houston native Eddie Rodriguez is co-producer of the film Rich Kids, which was shot in Houston and takes place here.
The movie, based on an actual event that happened in Pasadena, tells the story of a group of troubled teens from a low-income community who break into the abandoned mansion of "Los Ricos," some rich neighbors.

They enjoy the party life of living rich, but the fun inevitably comes to an end. The story addresses issues of race, economic disparity, gender, and violence.
In the audio above, Rodriguez talks about how he got into filmmaking.
