On Tuesday’s Houston Matters: Four Houston police officers remain hospitalized after Monday night's shooting in Southeast Houston. News 88.7's Florian Martin brings us the latest.

And voters go to the polls today to fill the seat in the Texas House vacated when Carol Alvarado was elected to the State Senate. News 88.7’s Andrew Schneider updates us on the race.
