Inside Renovation Plans For The Memorial Park Golf Course

Renovations would allow the park to host the PGA Tour’s Houston Open by 2020.

The Memorial Park Golf Course renovation is expected to take ten months.

Earlier this month, Houston City Council approved plans to renovate the Memorial Park Golf Course, enabling the park to host the PGA Tour's Houston Open by 2020.

Renovations were expected to begin right after city council members approved the plans. The Astros Golf Foundation is paying $13.5 million to redevelop the course.
