Winning Streak Ends As Texans Fall To Colts

From the Texans’ loss, to the struggling Rockets, Houston Matters checks in on the week’s sports stories with MK Bower.

Quarterback Deshaun Watson rushes against the Colts during the first half of Houston’s 24-21 loss.

The Colts beat the Texans 24-21 Sunday, snapping a franchise record nine-game winning streak as a late penalty by Jadeveon Clowney killed Houston’s chances to tie the game. The loss came at a bad time as a last-minute New England Patriots loss would have put the Texans in the second spot in the AFC playoff picture.

Also, the Rockets continue to struggle losing their last three games to the Timberwolves, Jazz, and Mavericks. They host the Trailblazers Tuesday night.

And, former Astros Luis Valbuena and Jose Castillo were killed in a car crash in Venezuela.

In the audio above, Houston Matters breaks down those and other developments in Houston sports with MK Bower who writes for Forbes.
