Book Champions Women’s Everyday Struggles and Triumphs

Houston writers Eloísa Pérez-Lozano and Jody T. Morse talk about their contributions to the book, “I Am Strength: True Stories of Everyday Superwomen.”

A new book compiles stories of strength told by women — including some from Houston.

I Am Strength: True Stories of Everyday Superwomen is a collection of true essays, poems, and artwork created by women from all walks of life championing their everyday struggles and triumphs.

The book includes stories by three Houston-based writers: Houston poet laureate Deborah “D.E.E.P.” MoutonEloísa Pérez-Lozano and Jody T. Morse.
