70 million is a new podcast about various efforts to reform the criminal justice system across the country. There are 70 million adults with a criminal record in the United States, and the podcast reflects on how the complex web of correctional and detention systems ensnares tens of millions.

One of the episodes features Harris County and the efforts overseen by District Attorney Kim Ogg.

Reporter Ruxandra Guidi profiled Ogg for an episode of the podcast. In the audio above, she tells Houston Matters producer Maggie Martin how support for criminal justice reform aided Ogg's election victory.
