On Thursday’s Houston Matters: We discuss something called “vicarious trauma.” We hear the latest installment of Houston Public Media’s Stories from the Storm series. And we talk with musician Matisyahu.

On Thursday’s Houston Matters: Dozens of Houston’s faith leaders are calling on the city to adopt a new way to address gun violence. The effort focuses specifically on holding gun manufacturers accountable to higher regulation standards. We learn about the initiative and how it measures up to other efforts to address gun violence. And News 88.7’s Allison Lee gives us an inside look at a pilot program that uses technology to address mental health problems.
