Houston's Montrose Center just started a new partnership with the Lone Star Veterans Association to help meet the needs of local LGBTQ veterans.

In the audio above, Houston Matters hears from from Josephine Tittsworth, a transgender veteran and executive director of the Texas Transgender Non-Discrimination Summit about her experience in the military.

Then, we learn more about the new initiative from Kennedy Loftin, chief development officer for the Montrose Center, and Kevin Doffing, CEO of the Lone Star Veterans Association.
