On Tuesday’s Houston Matters: Some Santa Fe High School parents are praising the district's decision to install metal detectors. Last night's vote comes just two days shy of the two month mark since the shooting that killed 10 people. We talk with a parent of a Santa Fe High School student about why they support the move, and we'll turn to a couple of security experts for their insight.

Then, News 88.7's Allison Lee looks into allegations from some volunteers at the border that migrants are not receiving enough food or medical care at government-run centers.
