Writer Shares His Favorite ‘Stories From Texas’

Stories From Texas Book CoverFor several years now, writer W. F. Strong has been telling Stories From Texas on his radio segment that airs on public radio stations across the state. Now, he's collected some of them in a book called Stories From Texas: Some of Them Are True.

In it, he says he attempts to cover the rich cultural heritage of Texas with stories about everything from the Texas dialect, to the larger-than-life personalities from the state's history.
