The Fredell Lack Legacy Violin Series at UH has celebrated the legacy of noted violin professor Fredell Lack, featuring several recitals throughout the past year put on by her former students.

The last of those recitals is this Sunday, June 24, and features Eden MacAdam-Somer, who, apart from playing the violin, also sings and performs percussion with her feet.

In the audio above, she visits Houston Public Media’s Geary Performance Studio for a chat with Houston Matters host Craig Cohen about her unique playing style, her remembrances of her teacher, and for a special performance.
