On Wednesday’s Houston Matters: A new report says some of the shelters taking in migrant children have histories of abuse allegations. The report comes a day after Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner spoke out against the possibility of a children's facility opening here. We talk with an editor involved with the investigative project.

Also this hour: Our experts discuss the latest political stories with an eye for how they might affect Houston and Texas. Then, we learn about an online photo database called Yo Tengo Nombre — or I Have a Name, which uses photographs of found objects to help identify the remains of those who've died trying to cross the Texas-Mexico border.

And we meet violinist Eden MacAdam-Somer, who, apart from playing the violin, also sings and performs percussion with her feet.
