New Campaign Aims to Crack Down On Harassment Against Female Veterans

Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center is launching a new campaign called End Harassment Campaign, addressing concerns and issues specific to female veterans.

In 2017, the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center opened a new Women’s Health Center. Now, they’re launching a new campaign to address concerns and issues specific to female veterans. It’s the End Harassment Campaign, and the VA is about to launch the training phase of the program.

Houston Matters’ Maggie Martin talks with a couple of female veterans about the challenges they’ve faced. Then, we turn to Dr. Rola El-Serag, the Medical Director of the Women’s Health Center at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center.
