If you’ve been on Post Oak Boulevard, you’ve probably noticed and maybe been frustrated by the construction that’s been going on since the fall of 2016. Well, come the end of this year, that longtime project may finally be finished as Uptown’s “Boulevard Project” finally comes to a close. This extensive renovation of Post Oak Boulevard is tied to an additional project that will develop a new Metro transit line along 610, set to be completed in 2019.

The development has been met with some opposition, but has continued to push forward as the Boulevard Project nears completion at the end of this year. We talk with John Breeding, the President of the Uptown Management District, about how the district has changed over time and how the Boulevard and transit projects will improve the area. We also follow up with political blogger and regular Good, Bad, & Ugly contributor Charles Kuffner who has followed the controversy in Uptown.
