How are the holidays different after Harvey? How can parents help children cope? How can Houstonians grapple with loss and grieving in the wake of the storm? Has the storm rattled our beliefs?

Those are just some of the questions a group of local organizations wants to help Houstonians answer this holiday season. They’ll hold a panel discussion on Saturday (Dec. 9, 2017) at Conference Center, Lifeline Chaplaincy located in the Museum District.

We learn more about the event and address some of those questions with Rev. Laura Mayo, senior minister at Covenant Church, Lynn McLean, a Houston-based child therapist, and Dr. Virgil Fry, executive director of the Lifeline Chaplaincy.
