Health Of Galveston Bay Gets Get Mixed Grade In Annual Report Card

We learn what contributed to this year’s overall grade of “C” in the Galveston Bay Foundation’s annual report card.

The health of Galveston Bay isn't great in some regards, but there are some reasons to be optimistic. That’s according to the Galveston Bay Foundation, which gives its namesake body of water a health grade of “C” in its latest report card.

Houston Matters gets more details on what contributed to the grade from T'Noya Thompson from the Galveston Bay Foundation and Lisa Gonzalez, president of Houston Advanced Research Center (HARC).

Each year, the report card grades the health of the bay based on a number of factors, from water quality to coastal changes.
