The National Weather Service has issued an Areal Flood Warning for western and northern parts of Houston until 11:45pm Thursday, due to the impact of significantly heavy rain over our area.  This means residents near streams, bayous and creeks in these parts of Houston can expect to see flooding continue through tomorrow.

As the Houston region continues to grapple with the aftermath of this week’s storms, Harris County health officials warn the recent rains and floods have contaminated many of the waterways in the Greater Houston region.
