Last night (Sept. 28, 2015), Houston Texans’ running back Arian Foster and some of his teammates served customers at Morton’s Steakhouse to raise money for Foster’s foundation, which aims to teach inner-city kids how to have a better life by focusing on food, family and finance.

In a recent one-on-one interview at the restaurant with News 88.7’s Eddie Robinson, he says The Arian Foster Family Foundation was inspired by his own personal experiences growing up in New Mexico.

Foster says his project will have a focus on educating adults on finances and improving access to better food choices for inner-city youth.

In advance of the event, he talked with Eddie about his life and what inspires him. But first, he talked about his relationship with the media.
