For more than 24 years now, ComedySportz has performed fast-paced improv comedy in Houston. Last year, the troupe moved to the Energy Corridor – to the very stage where the Houston Matters Road Show took place: the Energy Ballroom at the Holiday Inn Houston West.

The troupe was kind enough to let us crash their stage, and so we welcomed them to the show for a special performance.

We hear a sampling of their performance, featuring Dianah Dulany, Benji Cooksey and Emily Clay.

Michael Hagerty is the senior producer for Houston Matters. He's spent more than 20 years in public radio and television and dabbled in minor league baseball, spending four seasons as the public address announcer for the Reno Aces, the Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
